Unsealing the Mystery of the 1888 General Conference Meetings in Minneapolis - Parts 1 & 2. We must realize that the 1888 Message is the Elijah message and is said to be the "heart of the Third Angel's Message." That said, the heart is this: The Law of Galatians is the Moral Law. No law can save us. Therefore, "no law" can be nailed to the cross -- for Christ ALONE saves us. Christ ALONE hung on that tree. NO LAW can save us and therefore CANNOT be hung on the cross. 

"All these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come." (1 Corinthians 10:11)

"1844 is our classic icon. It marked the beginning of the special faith of Seventh-day Adventists, as Pentecost marked the beginning of the gospel going to the world. Yet another date keeps popping up, another “icon” for us, which has perplexed us."... "1888”

Chapter 6: 

"Waggoner's name will always be associated with justification by faith and the Minneapolis conference of 1888. Mrs. White declared it was the beginning of the light which was to propel the little Advent body into the latter rain and loud cry...The burning question is, What did Waggoner actually present in 1888?"

We actually know what he taught before, during, and after the 1888 conference -- and it was endorsed by Ellen White. 

Alonzo T. Jones also taught the same thing. Most rejected it and only a few accepted it, including Stephen H. Haskell and Greenberry G. Rupert.
